With all the strife and mayhem in the world today, I hadn't had time
to work up a big old fun super duper HPS PHOTO FEATURE in a while...
But things finally concresed into a concise workable whole and I was
able to tackle THE FIRST of the FIVE PHOTO ALBUMS that I purchased
about two months ago...and all five albums are chock full of various great
photographs of a sprawling family who lived (or live) in Kansas City, Missouri.
Along with probably 500-600 photos, the albums contain all sorts of paper
memorabilia and newspaper clippings...one member of the family even died when
he got caught in a big old ugly machine...and there's a newspaper photo to prove it!
As usual, I provide absolutely ZERO CAPTIONS for the photographs.
You're all smart people, so you can figure out basically what's happening.
Besides, most people who write captions for photos like these
tend to ruin them with lame humor and overtly dull witticisms
and if I live to be 1000 I must steadfastly refuse to be accused of
spreading overtly dull witticisms and lame humor in caption form.
Here comes the important, theororetical stuff...
Everybody likes to look at old photos, and if you don't then you're
probably not of this particular planet. There are some wonderful faces
here and only a few odd or puzzling poses, situations or locations.
In other words, All-American family doing universal things!
This first photo album seems to cover the many years between
approximately 1940 and the early 1980s. I can't be bothered to
scan a ton of photos, so I met myself halfway and decided to simply
clip the photos on a clipboard and snap reasonably sharp photos
whilst leaning on a dining room table in suspect lighting conditions.
Hope you like this big old fun super duper feature...
