Joe Meek lived, worked and died here

In November of 2004, Houseplant Picture Studio
visited London, England...while we were there
we took a few photos of some of the places where
record producer Joe Meek lived and worked...and died.

There's very little of substance about Meek on the internet.

If you don't know who he is, then start here

One of Meek's most successful productions was "Telstar" by The Tornados.
Note the little "Telstar" satellite at the top of this plaque.

Lansdowne Recording Studios in Holland Park - Meek recorded here.

The Sex Pistols also recorded "Anarchy in the UK" in this building
...plus other famous recordings were (and still are) done at Lansdowne
