MAY GOD BLESS CARLOS







Houseplant Picture Studio now really and actually presents a wonderful
album called MAY GOD BLESS CARLOS which was recorded by many, many
dozens of friends of a devoted Christian Gospel singer named CARLOS DAY
who (at the time of the recording of this special album) had undergone
two kidney transplants and (at the time of the recording of this album)
had undergone two unsuccessful and failed kidney transplants.

In order to help with expenses related to CARLOS' KIDNEYS
(at the time of the recording of this album), several churches
(filled with Gospel singers) got together and held benefits
and finally (after a trip to Cincinnati) many participants
contributed Gospel vocals and instrumentation to the
very album which we at Houseplant Picture Studio
are presenting to you now at this very Easter time.

To my trained ears, I hear much in this humble
tribute album - at times I can hear shards of ancient
Lakota singing (yes, true!) and at times the voices on
this Gospel album are AS ONE IN AND OF GOD and
therefore provide much Gospel inspiration and Christian joy
to peoples of all faiths and degrees of wealth and power
and skin color and breadth of education and sexuality.
