I don't know about your town or country, but here in lovely Long Beach
we have all sorts of exciting businesses and many storefront operations that
need to advertise their affairs...you know, brake repair shops, fast food joints,
wedding cake makers, youth basketball league clubs, tree trimmers, etc

And not a whole lot of these exciting businesses and storefronts
have a lot of money to advertise or to make basic signage.

Therefore, most of these businesses and storefront operations
have cheap (or inexpensive) and poorly-made vinyl signs
and other types of vinyl banners made...in order that they
may be hung precariously from atop buildings and
fastened between light poles and stop signs.

Yes, there's nothing like a good old vinyl sign
or banner to draw in the eager customers.

However, I've personally noticed that many
vinyl signs and banners are actually quite
ugly and tend to warp and fall down and
fold and bend and gather huge amounts
of dust from cars that pass by...

So, this is a new ongoing photo feature
and since there's no shortage of ugly
vinyl signs and banners, this feature
is sure to be chock full of ongoing fun.

Stay tuned and if you have photos
of your own that depict bad vinyl
signs and banners, email them
to the HPS email address below
and that's it for now.
